How this estimate works

Each work item is priced as quantity × (material + labour rate) plus other charges and any tax you enter. A contingency is added and the total is compared with your target budget. Items with a quantity but no rate, or a rate but no quantity, are flagged as missing scope.

Formula

  • Item = (qty × (material + labour) + other) × (1 + tax %)
  • Funding need = Σ items × (1 + contingency %)
  • Variance = target budget − funding need

Limitations

  • Material and labour prices are from your quotes, not verified by TechVodka.
  • Unpriced scope is excluded from the total.

Data used

No material price dataset is deployed. All rates are your quotes.

Can I use the result to make a purchase?+

Use it as a starting point, then confirm current prices, specifications, eligibility, and site requirements with a qualified provider.
