How this estimate works
Monthly charges (society rate × size, fixed charges, utilities) are combined with yearly property tax and repairs, plus a reserve for each big replacement equal to its cost divided by its life. Yearly costs rise at your inflation assumption.
Formula
- Monthly recurring = society rate × sq ft + fixed + utilities
- Yearly reserve = Σ (replacement cost ÷ life in years)
- Year t budget = yearly budget × (1 + inflation)^(t−1)
Limitations
- Reserve items and lifespans are editable examples, not official rules.
- Society charges and taxes vary by society and municipality.
Data used
No official dataset is used. Every rate, price and premium is entered by you or is a labelled, editable assumption.
