How this estimate works

A planning budget applies your editable own-damage percentage to a declining insured value, then adds the third-party premium and add-ons you enter. Real quotes are listed side by side with their premium as a share of insured value.

Formula

  • Year t own damage = value × (1 − decline)^(t−1) × planning %
  • Year t total = own damage + third-party premium + add-ons
  • Quote comparison = premium ÷ insured value

Limitations

  • The planning percentage is not an insurer rate or regulator tariff.
  • No-claim discounts, claims and driver profile appear only in real quotes.
  • Coverage terms differ; compare like with like.

Data used

No insurer premium or regulator table is published by TechVodka. Quotes and the planning percentage are yours.
